Grandmaster Kim goes to Seattle for National Collegiate Taekwondo Association Nationals

Grandmaster Kim went to Seattle on November 7th & 8th, 2003 to officiate at tryouts for the United States Taekwondo National Team. Mater Kim officiated, offered advice and helped to coordinate activies at this tryout. The collegiate nationals were held in Lynnwood, Washington. Grandmaster Kim also was a judge for the NCTA Essay contest. The topics were either 1 (Personal training ideas, or already established methods for increasing power and speed in the Roundhouse kick) or 2 (Write a persusive essay for raising funds for starving children around the world). The essay had to be 5 to 10 pages in length. First prize for the contest was a $500 scholarship and a plaque. Second place was a $300 scholarship and a plaque. Third place was a $250 scholorship and a plaque.
