On October 25, 2008, 14 students from our U.S. Taekwondo Center competed in the 2008 New York Open. The tournament was located at Suny College at Old Westbury in Long Island, NY. There were hundreds of competitors and our students were very successful. The Junior Sparring Team had trained very hard for two months preparing for this tournament.
