Keum-Gang San (Diamond Mountain) is a mountain in North Korea, in the Tae-Baek range. Carvings have been found there of warriors standing on one leg with their arms in a particular position; that pose is now called keum-gang maggi, diamond block, and is featured in this poom se.
The pattern of this poom se forms the Chinese character, san, meaning “mountain”, which is also apparent in the mountain blocks executed within the poom se.
