TAEGUEK YOOK-JANG (6)

§ Ready Stance.
1. Turn 90 to the left into a left front stance and perform a left low block.
2A. Perform a right front snap kick (middle section).
2B. Step back with right foot into a back stance and perform a left outside block.
3. Rotate 180 right into a right front stance and perform a right low block.
4A. Perform a left front snap kick.
4B. Step back with left foot into a back stance and perform a right outside block.
5. Turn 90 (to the front), step forward with left foot into a twisted left front stance and simultaneously
perform a knife hand crossing high block with the right hand (hand above eye level, bent slightly,
palm flat).
6. Perform a right round house kick (middle section).
7A. Facing left, step down with right foot – step forward with left foot into a back stance and perform
a left outside block.
7B. Step again into a left front stance and punch with the right arm.
8A. Perform a right front snap kick.
8B. Step down with the right foot into a right front stance and punch with the left arm.
9A. Rotate 180 right into a back stance and perform a right outside block.
9B. Step again into a right front stance and punch with the left arm.
10A. Perform a left front snap kick.
10B. Step down with the left foot into a left front stance and punch with the right arm.
11. Turn 90 left into an open stance – cross open hands over head (up on toes) and slowly lower arms in
front of the body (exhale breath), then close hands into a fist and perform an open block with both
arms.
12. Step forward with right foot into a twisted right front stance and simultaneously perform a knife
hand crossing high block with the left hand (hand over eye level, bent slightly, palm down).
13. Perform a left round house kick. YELL!!!
14. Step down with left foot – step back with right foot and pivot 270 into a right front stance and perform a right low block.
15A. Perform a left front snap kick.
15B. Step back with left foot into a back stance and perform a right outside block.
16. Rotate 180 left into a left front stance and perform a left low block.
17A. Perform a right front snap kick.
17B. Step back with right foot into a back stance and perform a left outside block.
18. Turn 90 (to the front), remain in back stance and extend right arm straight back with palm upward;
left arm palm down at right shoulder – perform a double knife hand block.
19. Step back with left foot into a back stance, extend left arm straight back with palm upward; right
arm palm down at left should – perform a double knife and block.
20. Step back with right foot into a left front stance, bring left palm hand to the side of the head and
perform a downward palm block. Do not obscure vision.
21. Punch with the right arm.
22. Step back with the left foot into a right front stance, bring right palm hand up to the side of the head and perform a downward palm block. Do not obscure vision.
23. Punch with the left arm.
§ Step back with right foot to a ready stance.
